Terms of Service

Last updated July 2026

These Terms govern your use of Dream Chat, an AI dream interpretation service. By logging in and using the service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. The service

Dream Chat reads a dream you describe and interprets it in the tradition of Ibn Sirin's Dictionary of Dreams, which is the reference text it is grounded in. Readings are given in that tradition's own terms, and the passages behind each reading are shown to you so you can weigh them yourself.

The interpretation is generated by an AI. It can be wrong, it can misread which entry applies, and the same element carries different meanings depending on the dreamer and their circumstances. The dictionary itself advises seeking the counsel of a reputable dream interpreter or a shaikh for anything of weight, and we repeat that advice: treat what you read here as a starting point, not as a ruling.

Dream Chat is not a medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, financial, or religious advisory service, and nothing it says is professional advice, a diagnosis, or a religious ruling. If a dream is connected to something troubling in your life, please speak to a qualified professional or someone you trust.

2. Your account

You sign in with an email address and a password. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Use one account for yourself and keep your password secure. You must be at least 16 to use Dream Chat.

3. Access

Access to Dream Chat is granted per account. Paid plans are being rebuilt, so there is currently no way to buy access through the site and no charge is made for using it. When pricing returns, these Terms will be updated and the date at the top of this page will change.

4. Acceptable use

Use Dream Chat for your own dreams. Do not use it to create harmful, illegal, or abusive content, to present its readings to other people as professional advice or as a religious ruling, to attempt to disrupt or overload the service, or to resell or share paid access with others.

5. Your content and sharing

Your conversations are yours. Dreams can be personal, so sharing is off by default. If you create a public share link for a conversation, anyone who has that link can read that conversation until you turn sharing off. A shared view shows only the messages and the passages the reading was based on, never your cost, your account, or your other chats. Do not share a conversation that contains anything you want to keep private.

6. Availability and accuracy

The service is provided on an as is and as available basis. We do not promise it will always be available, uninterrupted, or free of errors, and AI output may be inaccurate. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of the service or reliance on its output.

7. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, the date at the top of this page changes. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the updated Terms.

8. Contact

If you have questions about these Terms, contact the Dream Chat team.
